As the Content Management Solution Architect, you will be the part of highly motivated Digital Engagement Business Technology Solutions Team. We are seeking a strong results-oriented person who will be driving the evolution of Organon’s Commercial Content Management Platform.

Reporting to the Digital Engagement Product Line lead, the Solution Architect is responsible for guiding and architecting content management solutions for Organon’s Commercial organization. The Solution Architect is a global technical thought leader for the Digital Engagement product line. As a digital marketing content expert, you will be partnering directly with marketing leads, data analysts and other members of the Business Technology organization to deliver business value.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meet with business and technology stakeholders to discuss content management design and function

  • Contributes as part of a cross-functional team to the successful delivery of product releases against a prioritized set of requirements.

  • Advises Development Lead on work packages and delivers in a timely manner

  • Lead the technical effort designing and implementing new features and functionality while providing subject matter expertise on the product and best practices for solution architecture

  • Assess the systems architecture currently in place and work with technical staff to recommend solutions for improvement

  • Integrate new and updated specifications and requirements into the system architecture

  • Assist in project management tasks including resource planning, sprint planning, and leading and motivating a cross-functional team

  • Lead in troubleshooting content and content integration issues

  • Keep abreast of latest content management functionality and features to drive innovation and use on the platform

  • Partner with technology vendors on solution architecture and product features

  • Drive continuous improvement of the Integrated promotional content management platform

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years experience working with content management systems for Life Sciences companies; including, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Healthcare, and Medical Device and Diagnostics

  • Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design

  • Hands on experience with systems such as Veeva Vault PromoMats and/or MedComms

  • Experience with systems and application integration strategies and patterns

  • Well verse with the life sciences medical legal review and approval process

  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and ensure delivery to a high degree of satisfaction

  • Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and formal presentation

  • Fully conversant with systems development life cycle methodology (Agile) and understand regulatory and compliance needs relevant to digital marketing in the Life Sciences industry

  • Actively collaborate and share knowledge across the Commercial Business Technology teams

  • Ability to manage and juggle multiple projects at once working cross-functionally across business and Business Technology teams

  • Strong analytical thinker and problem-solving skills

  • Experience working independently and collaboratively within a geographically disbursed environment

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience in working with agile methodology and teams. SAFe Certification

  • Experience with the RFP process

  • Practical understanding of promotional content usage metrics and analytics

  • Experience with AWS and Azure cloud services
